Cat?

I'm sure most of you have seen today's XKCD so I don't have to mention its coolness but do any of you have an idea what the cat falling off the edge might refer to? Is it just random?
And I just had a thought: It might refer to Schrödinger's Cat as we're talking about the "observable universe".

[Mini Review] Modulate - Detonation

This arrived this morning from MNS and it's been on repeat a few times.

Detonation is a proper full album: 10 tracks, 9 of which not on the previous demo or EP (Skullfuck being the only "old" track) and one a cover of The Prodigy's No Good. No remixes. Nice and varied in style and everything souds good despite my cheap earphones and my cold. On a decent system, they will be bombastic.

So far "Tweekin n Funkin" is my favourite, with "Bass Alert" and "Hard and Dirty" joining the fray.

ION, I'm still rather crappy, coughing and wheezing but at least my head feels like its normal size again, I can breathe and don't explode in a cloud of snot every five minutes.

Old Dr Who

I'm watching The Invasion of Time (or trying to watch without fits of giggles). Now I know where the Doctors' rather unusual ways of dressing comes from. The Doctors (especially 9 and 10) dress absolutely conservatively to the Gallifreyans. The customes range from uniforms which are a mishmash of various period Earth pieces to the downright ridiculous (think a mix between the costumes in Ming's court in the 80s film version of Flash Gordon and the Dune miniseries from a few years ago - the taller the hat the more important the wearer). One episode in, I still have no idea what's going on, either because I haven't seen enough Who to understand what they're on about or because it's meant that way.
At least I now know where borusa got his name from. ;o)
