Gary Gygax died today. (thanks to

bibliogirl for mentioning it). The scary thing is, he was only a year older than my dad.

Not that I'm a big fan of his work but he did start the hobby without which I wouldn't have met many good friends and wouldn't have had some of the funniest and most memorable moments in my life.
