A lazy day draws to a close
25 May 2008 10:29 pmToday I slept in, had breakfast, tootled around the net a bit and then set off for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
robinbloke's again. tooth_fairy wasn't feeling well so we didn't take any more photos but just lounged around not doing a lot.
I set up a Mario Kart account and made my way through the first four cups (winning them all) of the 50cc Kart races. I'm slowly getting the hang of the steering and the only track I did really badly on was Bowser's Castle 3 where I came last (but still won the overall cup) and I think there was one 3rd and one 2nd place somewhere.
Meanwhilerobinbloke had roasted a turkey with all the trimmings including quite possibly the best roast potatoes I've ever had (fluffy on the inside, crunchy on the outside) which made a scrumptious early dinner.
We then watched some iplayered QI and HIGNFY and after gathering my gear, I set off back home.
I've now started working ontooth_fairy's photos on earnest while Walk the Line is on the background.
Thanks again torobinbloke for the hospitality and to tooth_fairy for the photo opportunity and both for the company. Oh, and for liking my food. :o) I'd been quite anxious, especially when I ran into timing troubles but it was all good in the end.
