A question to all those of you who know cool costuming sites:

[livejournal.com profile] eryx_uk is looking for a good (and most likely reasonably priced) site for 1920 style costumes for a Cthulhu LARP.

Any ideas? You can either post here or shoot Colin a direct comment.

Many thanks in advance!

My Pyrates costume (flouncy shirt, waistcoat, trousers, headscarf and sash) has arrived and it looks awesome! I can't try it on until after Tai Chi tonight and then I'll post photos (filtered against those of you who will be at the game, of course ;oÞ)

Right, now I can finally show off my stuff.
Here's a selection, the full set is on Flickr.

Think of the French what you will but they put on some stunning LARP events. The costumes and the venue are just jaw-dropping.

Original costumes up for auction from tomorrow!
And yes, that is Mal's original browncoat. Other things include, one of Book's outfits that wasn't used, various Inara outfits, leftover fabric from Kaylee's Shindig dress (I see [livejournal.com profile] becky_spence, [livejournal.com profile] claire_wain and [livejournal.com profile] purpleheather fighting over that one) and other bits. No Jayne hat, though. :o(
