I've included a number of my best penguin shots in my pro gallery on photobox. So if you ever wanted a penguin on your wall, now you can:

Looking for a present for someone but have no idea what? Do they like (reasonably well executed) photography? Do they still have bare walls?
Then buy them a print from my collection. That way you get them something nice and me a few credits on photobox. ;o)
[livejournal.com profile] bloomeenee was very happy with the quality of hers.

Just got a big package of prints from dlab7 and they look very good indeed. I guess I'll spend tonight after I get back from Heffers and tomorrow night sorting through all of them so I can mail them out on Monday. [livejournal.com profile] bloomeenee just bought three prints from my portfolio. This makes me both proud and grateful. :o)
She got away with it at cost, though, as I haven't set up my "pro shop" on photobox yet but that should be ready by tomorrow. Don't worry, the prices won't be horrendous.

Today the 30x20 poster of my King's Cross photo arrived and it looks quite good. It's a bit difficult to judge in its rolled up state but should look great when framed (must remember to pop into town on Saturday to get that done).
The low price of 5.99 plus p&p is valid through June so if you want any, go to photobox.

I had completely forgotten to mention it but on Saturday, I received my first box of the All Dark Club (Hotel Chocolat Tasting Club). Mmmmm, so good. Not sure if the rather steep price is justified but I'll keep it up at least for another month.

Photobox are currently (all of June) doing 30x20 poster prints for only £5.99 (usually 18.99). I'm having one of my Kings Cross photo made to see what it's like.

I recently found dlab7 via a link [livejournal.com profile] the_magician posted, had a look and found that they offer incredible prices for prints.
When you use their upload feature (instead of sending in a CD), a 12x8 print costs only 70p, with no minimum number. I selected 10 recent and varied  photos (portraits, architecture, still lives in colour and b&w) and uploaded them on Tuesday morning. They arrived today packed in two(!) sturdy cardboard tubes and look very good indeed. My layman's eyes can't see a difference between them and other services (Peak Imaging etc.), on the contrary, I spotted flaws in the photos I didn't spot on screen...
On top of that, P&P was only 49p, and the cardboard tubes are perfectly reusable.

So, if you're looking for somewhere to print your photos, I'd recommend them, especially if it's only a few.
