I have a new favourite EBM group

Rotersand from Germany. They've taken Germany's goth/industrial clubs by storm last year and rightly so. A mix of very danceable EBM with a couple of quiet ballads. Wonderful.

Some bastard stole my lunch

out of the fridge at work. A wedge of really nice raw milk brie and some sliced pork loin.
I admit, the brie was a bit smelly (as ripe brie is wont to be) but that's not a reason to throw it away as it wasn't off.

Bloody idiot drivers

One cm of snow that doesn't even settle and the whole city becomes gridlocked. By the looks of it, I'll be stuck here til 8 or longer as there would be no point in getting into the car now.

If there's snow, slow down, leave enough distance to the car in front, don't block intersections and everything will be cool. Morons!!

What to do?

- Sit in the car for an hour (I reckon I'd need that long for a normal 15 minute drive)
- Go to the pub opposite for dinner and hope it's better when I'm finished
- Walk home which will mean leaving my car in the (unsafe) company car park and having to walk back in tomorrow morning.
- It's getting cold in the office so sitting it out reading MC rules, writing up some scenario bits and NPC sheets and pass Eddy's comments on to my players isn't an option...
- The danger of waiting is that it might well be freezing soon and sheet/black ice will make the situation worse.

I'll give it half an hour.

I'm home safe and sound

Suddenly, all the cars were gone (at 7) so it only took me 20 minutes. I was taking it slowly because there was much slush and it looks like it might be freezing soon. Got in, and happened across Just for Laughs, a very funny candid camera show. *giggles*
