When I clicked on it, the link was No 5 in the "Most Emailed" list but it has now disappeared from that list. Just shows that there are far more sad geeks out there than you would expect. ;o)

It is a sad day; I think many people of our generation, if we didn't start with D&D, were aware of it and it was the springboard to our many and varied worlds of adventure.

I guess I'm just saying again, inadequately, what a lot of people have already said, but, hey, he's the source of the hobby...
