Date: 30/6/05 12:16 pm (UTC)The conversion to black and white with the contrast cranked up and the high ISO setting at a reasonably small aperture (f8) just adds to the feel.
I'm very happy with this one.
It was taken from the back of platform 1 which is quite often empty for some reason.

Date: 30/6/05 12:19 pm (UTC)I'm glad to hear it has improved, I've not been there for over 3 years, any improvement from then has got to be good.

Date: 30/6/05 06:27 pm (UTC)Not exactly, the plan was to take photos at Canary Wharf (http://ozzy-d70.fotopic.net/c408426.html).
The Kings Cross one was on the way there when the almost empty platform and the atmosphere hit me and the one of the Windmill was in the evening on my way to find a restaurant, which I didn't so I went to Taro instead (or rather it rained so hard I didn't want to walk any further).
