On my way back, I will have a domestic flight from New Orleans to Boston with AirTran and then an international flight to Heathrow with BA.
Does anyone know if it's possible to check through your luggage to the connecting flight so I only have to check in/walk to the gate without having to claim my luggage, lob it around and check it in again?

Also, you picked up that they're bankrupt and appear to be in the process of being bought by Southwest, right?

Date: 20/1/05 02:33 am (UTC)When I flew home from Rochester I had an internal flight to New York and transferred to BA for the international flight home without having to collect my bag and recheck it.
The people at the check in desk asked if I wanted my bags transferred for me when I put my bags in.
