Hi!
I'm looking for a good Asian restaurant (Chinese, Thai, Indian or even obscure things) in Cambridge and vicinity. Doesn't have to be cheap but should have good value for money (price range £15-20 per person) and excellent food is the main point.

Any suggestions?
(We've already been to the Peking Restaurant in Burleigh St and Thanh Binh in Magdalen St, you get the idea).

Cheers!

Thanh Binh you mentioned, but it deserves another mention anyway.

Charlie Chan's is great. Go for upstairs if you can - downstairs is a noodle bar by day, part of the main restaurant by night, but still has quite a noodle-barry feel. Upstairs is more comfortable.

I really don't rate the Ugly Duckling at all. But other people seem to like it and I've not been there in years.

There's a place sort of opposite Chan's too (well, somewhere on Regent Street on the other side, not one of the places further up on the same side) I've been to once, which wasn't bad at all. Thai, I think.

If you noodle then there's quite a few of them about now. King Street, Charlie Chan's during the day, next to the Kambar, town end of Milton Road (by the kebab place and the curry takeaway).

The Ugly Duckling changed hands sometimes last year, it's now run by the same people who run the excellent Peking Restaurant in Burleigh St.

Thanks for the tips. I'll keep the Noodles in mind but we're looking for something more comfortable. I've been to the one in King St. before and really liked it, especially the pineapple icecream afterwards.
