When I picked up some money from a cash machine this morning, I checked my balance and got this:

Just saw the trailer for the live-action version of Æon Flux with Charlize Theron in the lead role. It's hard to judge from the trailer if it's going to be as good as the animated version. It's definitely not as weird-looking.

Serenity fans

According to corone, it's out (at least at GenCon) and looking shiny.
I assume it'll be available in the shops in the next couple of weeks, then.

Odd way of doing an award

muskrat_john just posted the winner of the Diana Jones Award for Excellence in Gaming: Ticket to Ride.
Oddly, the other two contenders were an RPG (Dogs in the Vineyard) and a online chat RPG (Code of Unaris).
Those are three completely different types of games you can't really compare which makes it a bit unfair, IMHO.

It's like giving an award for the best item of clothing and the shortlist consists of a pair of boots, a lumberjack shirt and a pair of combat trousers.
