Soo tired

No holiday until the 21st...

Played Munchkin Bites last night and while it was fun, it seemed rather slow. Maybe it was just a bad shuffle or the card mix is different. We played for almost an hour and the highest level was 3. There aren't that many low and mid level monsters, it seems. I need to have a count and compare it to the other sets. I don't think the slowness was due to the fact that three of the six players hadn't played before. The full-length, six player Star Munchkin game at Dragonmeet didn't take that long.

Don't quite know what's up with people at the Druids. Very few seem eager to play games anymore. I guess we need to have a different night, one for gaming and one for chatting or something. Shame, really.

I've seen him twice (once in '86? at the Country Music Festival in Frankfurt and once on the Highwaymen tour with Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings in Munich in the early 90s) but that's been ages, his new album is fantastic and he's not the youngest anymore, either.

4th of April, Sheperd's Bush Empire, tickets between 30 and 35 quid.

Incidentally, the artists I've just mentioned (plus more) will be featured in my Octaine set tomorrow.

"Move Hands Like Clouds" made a little more sense this time and we practiced it until our arms fell off.
After that we learned a new sequence which involved standing on alternating single legs and "kicking" so first our arms got a workout and then the legs. *groans a bit*
(For those who know about it, it's "Reach Up To Pat Horse", "Separate Foot to Right", "Seperate Foot to Left" and "Turn and Kick").
This is going to be interesting next time...

However, I noticed results. If someone told me to stand on one leg and move like that three months ago, I would have stumbled or at least wobbled precariously. I've learned how to shift my weight and balance better, also something I've noticed when having to step over things.
