Played Munchkin Bites last night and while it was fun, it seemed rather slow. Maybe it was just a bad shuffle or the card mix is different. We played for almost an hour and the highest level was 3. There aren't that many low and mid level monsters, it seems. I need to have a count and compare it to the other sets. I don't think the slowness was due to the fact that three of the six players hadn't played before. The full-length, six player Star Munchkin game at Dragonmeet didn't take that long.
Don't quite know what's up with people at the Druids. Very few seem eager to play games anymore. I guess we need to have a different night, one for gaming and one for chatting or something. Shame, really.

Date: 8/12/04 01:31 pm (UTC)I need a whole day to get home (half hour to station, 1 hour to airport, 2-3 hours waiting in various lounges, 1 and a bit hour flight, half an hour to get out, 2 hours drive home, if I'm lucky).
Main christmas day (i.e. with tree, presents etc.) in Germany is the 24th, so I wouldn't even be home for that. Christmas and Boxing day are just for eating and inviting/visiting relatives.
