My only commentary re the US

is actually a more generic one, something I always found annoying.
It's the phrase "God bless America".

Correct me if I'm wrong but the US constitution grants freedom of religion. Hence, any government should be completely neutral in that regard. This "God bless America" and similar phrases are a slap in the face of any non-Christian, be they of another faith or choose not to have a faith. I choose myself what to believe in, thank you very much, and I will vote for a candidate I think has what it takes to make a difference and govern a country properly. Their faith (or private life, sexual orientation and other personal issues) isn't important to me at all.

It's very similar to the crucifixes in German (or at least Bavarian) classrooms.

Tai Chi

Another good session today, the move from last time fell into place again as there was loads of practice. The new one was very confusing at first but is actually a lot simpler than the last one. This means I learn how to ward off monkeys very soon. ;o)
