Weekend!

Yay! Finally.

I've decided it's going to be a quiet one. There's no Cam game tomorrow I have to go to so I won't and instead use the time to do some long overdue housework, some cam work and for the rest of the day relax, watch a movie and prolly continue playing FF9 (hmm, got airship now, all the wrold to explore...).

Sunday evening is the Stratford game, come and watch the Malkavian Prince!

Tonight I'll bring over Christi's books, and go shopping. It's been bit of a shite week with my car playing up and things from work, so I guess I'll indulge myself and shop at Waitrose instead of Tesco and cook up some nice dinner tomorrow (hmm, I think pork fillet in a creamy green pepper sauce with potatoe bake, a pepper salad and a nice bottle of Merlot sounds very appealing)

Car fixed!

Yay, car fixed.

Andy, Isi and Mouse might remember the horrible grinding noise my car developed on Sunday. Well, the front brake pads were completely gone and that didn't the discs any good so both had to be replaced.
My first point of call was the Fiat garage as I needed service done as well, their first available appointment would have been the 21st of August!! So I went to National Tyres, they booked me in the next day, delivered the car this morning at 9, at 10 I had a full diagnosis and a quote (front tyres were worn down as well, as I had suspected) and at lunchtime all was done. They even realigned the wheels and the axle for free.
Good thing that, I can drive to Stratford on Sunday.

Hm, I think I've overdone it a bit...

... went to Waitrose for shopping and got a bit carried away ... oooh, dark chocolate, oooh, Chanterelle mushrooms would go well with the prime Angus steak I bought instead of the pork fillet (which they didn't have) ... wow, German style bread which looks like the real thing (no, Rikk, not cinder blocks) ... hmmm, Sushi, yay Hot Lava Java, I'll be awake next week, plus some standard stuff (beer, bread, butter, salami, cream, snacks etc.).
Grand total: 42.94, gah...
