Are there any manufacturers who still offer laptops/notebooks with Windows XP?
ETA: I have odd requirements for a laptop:
- reasonably compact: Not widescreen (which is where most fail), and not bigger than 15" (so it fits in my backpack), light, reasonable battery
- Lots of processor crunch and memory so it can deal with huge RAW photos
- Vista takes up too much of the former already so I'd rather have the power available to apps. (and a familiar OS)

Only if you get Vista Business, you can then downgrade to Xp Pro. But you'll need to provide you own XP install key & media. But IIRC you are allow to use one from a previous machine.

Yarp.

It's what my company did (sort of, XP->NT) for our old machines when NT stopped being supported.
