No, I lied, the manoir has a full veggie menu. Impressive.
If I were a veg/vegan, I'd look at a restaurant's menu before even thinking of going there. If their normal menu had very little choice, I wouldn't say "Oh, let's go and see what they can rustle up for us".
The more specific dietary requirements were OK because there are relatively easy ways around them.

Date: 23/10/08 09:02 am (UTC)To be honest, I would welcome more veggie choices generally across restaurants and not just a goat's cheese and mushroom or spinach tart which seems to be the default but as I said, as a veggie I wouldn't go somewhere that doesn't offer a good choice on their menu.

The Manoir is really pretty unusual among top-end restaurants in catering well for veggies.
