[Film] The Forbidden Kingdom

karohemdis very cool indeed. It has everything an entertaining film needs, it's fast, beautiful, funny, lush, dramatic, silly, moving and a little bit sad.
Jackie Chan and Jet Li bounce off each other wonderfully (and often literally). I hope they'll do more of this thing as it was a pleasure to watch them having a lot of fun. The film is an amalgamation of a lot of things, not just classic 70's HK Kung Fu (Jackie Chan basically reprising his Drunken Fist role) to modern OTT Wuxia (the Jade Warlord and the white-haired witch) with elements from some classic fantasy and crossovers like Big Trouble in Little China, too.
I recommend this to anyone who wants 90 minutes of fun, especially if they love HK cinema.

the_magician but ran into akonken and jholloway who were out on their date instead.
