My Pyrates costume (flouncy shirt, waistcoat, trousers, headscarf and sash) has arrived and it looks awesome! I can't try it on until after Tai Chi tonight and then I'll post photos (filtered against those of you who will be at the game, of course ;oÞ)

I come humbly seeking wisdom...

Next year one of my mates is getting married, and instead of a stag do, he's organisng a Call of Cthulhu LARP weekend (Dark Portal, I think the group's name is) instead. Wheres a good place to find suitable 1920's style clothing?
I don't even know what sort of character I want as yet, but I don't know where to locate costume.

I think I have a link somewhere, I need to check. There's definitely an American one but I faintly remember a UK one, too.
Can you remind me if I don't get back to you before the weekend?

Failing that, you can always ask becky_spence. I'm sure she'd be happy to custom make one for you. That said, it won't be cheap. I'd reckon a full outfit (suit, shirt tie) would cost quite a nice sum of money.
