The Curse of King Tut was as bad as expected, or even worse. It felt like a badly scripted computer adventure game with a lead character they didn't quite get the Indiana Jones license for. There was only enough budget for a similar outfit but none of the character. He was just pathetic and don't even get me started on the "archaeology", finding Tut's death mask in a hole or the Valley of the Kings being in sight of the pyramids of Gizeh, all surrounded by a Constantine/Mummy type conspiracy. *sigh* Even Malcom McDowell wasn't his usual evil villain self.
Supernatural was just a standard revenge spirit episode without any metaplot but relatively well done.
24 last night pulled almost all of the stops. The bastards killed Edgar!, although the whole "Oh look, they managed to put a nerve gas canister somewhere else yet again" is getting a bit tired.
Tired is the word. Good night!

Date: 18/4/06 09:14 am (UTC)I must admit, I was thinking that it was just like the Mummy but with an Indy style character, and what the hell was up with Tut having metal wings?
I liked Supernatural on Sunday, Vicky was swearing when I told her the number plate was beatingu. ;o)
I was wondering if you were going to miss it because I noticed it wasn't on ITV as normal.
