IMDB appears to have banned referrals, at least to pictures. You have to cut and paste the URL, and then paste it into a new tab or window. That worked for me.

They put a transparent gif over their photos, too. You can still find the real photo if you know how, though.
Open in new tab definitely works, which I usually do.
