Italians

Just had a thought (brought on by listening to an Italian co-worker talk for the last five minutes):
Italians should be really good at playing wind and brass instruments. If they can talk for minutes without taking a single breath, they should be able to do the same with an instrument...

Just tie their hands up. an italian can't talk without making expansive gestures.

I had a girlfriend once who's mum had told her she should put a hand over her nose, one over her mouth, and learn to "breath through her ears".

Never could work out where a skill like that would come in handy.

She did pin me down one day and try to make *me* do it. Needless to say, I failed.
