I recently found dlab7 via a link
the_magician posted, had a look and found that they offer incredible prices for prints.
When you use their upload feature (instead of sending in a CD), a 12x8 print costs only 70p, with no minimum number. I selected 10 recent and varied photos (portraits, architecture, still lives in colour and b&w) and uploaded them on Tuesday morning. They arrived today packed in two(!) sturdy cardboard tubes and look very good indeed. My layman's eyes can't see a difference between them and other services (Peak Imaging etc.), on the contrary, I spotted flaws in the photos I didn't spot on screen...
On top of that, P&P was only 49p, and the cardboard tubes are perfectly reusable.
So, if you're looking for somewhere to print your photos, I'd recommend them, especially if it's only a few.
