The rest of the weekend
16 Dec 2001 02:42 pmGot to the Corner House (under new management), only to find that there was no food (and it looks like there won't be, which means we will have to find a new pub :o( ). I don't know but the landlord looked decidedly dodgy (hm, some who don't know Eddie might say the same of him ;o) but the new one looks like he's just come out of Lock, Stock...).
The Changeling game was fun as always. Kudos to Andy and Christi for running yet another great game. Kudos also to Sarah and Dave for NPCing the people from Green Man.
The two types of Dippadoom[TM] (regular and ST strength) along with the Xmas goodies my mum sent (Stollen and cookies) were gladly accepted which was cool. Andy, Christi and many others also brought much nibbles which would have catered for a far larger game (I think there were not quite 20 people in the end).
It got a bit hectic in the end but Sam managed to remain out of the way of most trouble and just resolved to patching people up afterwards (Argh, I'm running out of Heather Balm bunks).
The carol singers were hilarious (and absolutely oblivious to anything we would throw at them) and the Nockers were obnoxious as always. At least they didn't burn the Freehold down this time...
Today I'll be doing the pictures and hopefully uploading them if tripod lets me. I couldn't connect Friday or last night.

A quote from Sam last night
Which, inexplicably, caused laughter from everybody in the vicinity...
