1. bruce springsteen:
   My favourte musical artist. He's a great songwriter and a fantastic live performer.
2. corvus corax:
   Probably the first German medieval band that made it away from the reenactment fair/medieval market circuit, closely followed by In Extremo. They and Subway to Sally were responsible for the rising interest in this musical style and both with their side project Tanzwut and the In Electronica Extrema remix album were pioneers in terms of traditional/electronic crossover.
   Sadly, they are far too far up their own arses nowadays. Good thing there are new acts like Cultus Ferox and Potentia Animi about who keep the scene interesting.
3. djing:
   Don't have much opportunity at the moment (need to get a set at the Calling when my infrarot order is in) but it's a great feeling when you try and make a difference to the same old setlists and people like it, too. Sadly, not enough people.
4. flannel shirts:
   Anyone who's seen me outside goth clubs will know why. ;o)
5. industrial music:
   Hard, grinding, good to dance to.
6. led zeppelin:
   Despite being almost 40 years old, their music still moves me.
   I've improved recently with the addition of modern alternative electronic music but my average musical taste is at least 10 years older than I am.
7. nutella:
   Mmmmm, my only real addiction to a substance, I think.
8. reading:
   I'm not reading as much as I used to (damn you, internet and DVDs!) but I still like a good book.
9. stephen king:
   He was the first author I followed religiously. Has lost quite a bit of punch in his later work.
10. townes van zandt:
    Singer/Songwriter par excellence, pure Americana.
    I'm really looking forward to the recent documentary that will hopefully be released in the UK.
