Solution to the macro riddle

As many of you guessed correctly, Picture 1 is a set of keys (with the only other guesses being coins and lifting weights) and Picture 2 is the switch of the desk lamp I use as bedside lamp.

Honourable mention for most unique and imaginative guess goes to feanelwa for "An ultra high molecular weight polyethylene artificial hip cup with a small amount of wear damage, cleaned in an autoclave (this is unlikely)". ;o)

Popular guesses for No 2 were "soap", "swingtop bin lid" and "aerosol can top" but after the hint last night more and more switches came in.
I think next time I do this, I will have to clean my stuff really thoroughly.

Off into town to find some food and see Kong!
