Ahhhh, nostalgia

Just watched "Best of Formel Eins", no, not Formula One but a pop music show on German TV in the 80s and early 90s with all the old presenters, "live" acts (very obvious miming to backing tape - something I utterly despise in German TV - only Allanah Myles sang live but her band wasn't plugged in) and clips from old shows (oh, the hair!). And I have to say, Stefanie Tücking looks better now than she did then.
The interesting thing was to hear both dead and gone songs but also music that's pretty much timeless
(e.g. Melissa Etheridge, Alannah Myles).
I assume nobody but madmoses and whiskeylover will know what I'm talking about but I
don't care.

I never had a TV, but some of my friends did. Gods German TV in the late 80s was generally vile!

No idea who she is but you often find that with pop stars from years gone by. Minus the shoulder pads and perms some of them are not too bad on the eye...

UK Top of the Pops from the 70s has a high nostalgia/cringe rating. I sometimes deny I was alive at that time (or wore flairs, platform boots, etc.) As they say, nostalgia ain't what it used to be...
