Urk, I already have a wedding (autumn_storm and twentypence) in September, might even be on the same date, it's definitely in late September...

First of all, thank you for asking, I feel honoured.

If it doesn't clash with the above, I'll be very happy to take photos at your wedding but not as the official photographer.
That would apply even if I weren't busy. Pretty much every photographer I've talked to says "Don't do weddings". It's difficult and stressful and there are good reasons why pros charge as much as they do.
I simply lack the experience and knowledge of what's required to do it adequately. Besides, at a friend's wedding, I'l like to have fun, too.

However, if you don't care about lack of appropriate quality and style and are happy with a few posed shots of the happy couple and some snapshots during ceremony and reception plus can wait a few weeks for the results (sorted on CD and DVD), I'm sure we can arrange something.
I can't do prints but I can recommend a few online places.

Tbh, I'm not gonna ask you to be the official guy, but you are damned good at what you do. It was just that after your efforts with cryx, vulgercriminal and tooth_fairy , laumiere asked me to ask you if you will photograph her as you have a knack of catching the best of all sides and more importantly catching the emotions in a shot. And she wants some good shots, dammit!

ATEOFTD. you are damned good at what you do, and we trust you to do what's right, piccie wise. Yeah, and even despite your annoying tendancy to photgraph me dancing with glowsticks... Still not forgiven...

Well, in this country anyone can do it- all it needs is a declaration at the bottom that it is an accurate translation, sworn in front of a commissioner of oaths; which is why I could have done it myself, but apparently the bride & groom are not allowed to :(

Ah, so all you need is me writing that statement and signing it? That would work. My knowledge of bureaucratic/legal terminolgy is sadly lacking, that's why I never went for certification.
