Sounds almost too good to be true.

I don't really see it happening at the moment. However, the fuel prices WILL go up quite dramatically over the coming years due to the fact that oil is running out, so the tax part will become less dominant.

I heard some time ago that there was a push for everyone for example to avoid using BP. As one of the big oil companies, if masses of people did not use their stations, they would be forced into reducing their prices. However, as the website states, the reason why petrol is so expensive in this country is because of tax and not oil prices.
