I just bought "The Roadkill of Middle Earth" by John Carnell. Hilarious graphic novel. Look for it at Forbidden Planet (that's where I bought it).
Short excerpt:
The Shyer: An idyllic oasis of rural tranquility inhabited by a race of Little People. They don't do a lot, and seem to be semi-retired. They like to loaf and potter around in the garden. The only product produced in the Shyre, mainly for personal use, but sometimes exported, is garden weed. The weed, smoked in pipes, brings about a pleasant euphoria and a general sense that all's well in the world.
