Flightastic!

Air Berlin are now flying to Glasgow. I had a quick look at their offers and immediately booked the flight for my trip in February (going there on the 2nd, coming back on the 5th) for £42 all inclusive. That's the same as Ryanair with the added bonus of more comfort plus drink and snack, being able to choose a seat and all the rest that comes with Air Berlin. Rar!

I flew to Dusseldorf with them at the start of October and was stunned by how good they were -- I'd assumed it was going to be an Easyjet-like experience.

I've been flying home and back with them for the last five(?) years or so and it has always been good. The occasional delay was the only disadvantage but those happen to every airline.

They had us changing gate 5 times for our Paris flight. Up or down a set of stairs each time.

Actually we are going to Scotland for 2.5 in December. Glasgow will be (sadly) missed out though... due to Inverness and Isle of Skye!
