Escaped!

I have escaped work early which should give me enough time to sort out everything so I can go to bed by 8 which will give me about 6 hours of sleep, which I desperately need for the long day (30 hours?) ahead. Travel that early in the morning should at least be reasonably painless.

I have all the major stuff I need (ticket confirmation, passport), photo backpack without laptop and suitcase with a few changes of clothes and necessities. Actually wearing my boots would save me a bit of weight and space in the luggage but they are a bit too clunky to wear on a plane comfortably.

Right, to work!

Oh, we got Gandalf's flyers for the Vamp game and put them up by the counter at Gamers, and a friend of a friend has started a Fenlands/Cambridgeshire community forum with games section, so I've done a little advirtisng for the game there as well.

Lets hope it brings some more members. :)

Any boots worth wearing will make it hell to get through the bleepy machine - it nearly always takes me ages to put everything in the little tray for them to xray....getting better with practice, can now normally get through without beeps in two attempts.
