DVD-R question

My DVD burner can do dual-layer but I haven't seen any dual-layer DVD-Rs about. Are there any and how much do they cost?
I'm slowly getting to a point where all the files of a photoshoot (originals and edits in various versions) won't even fit on a DVD for backup purposes...

Dabs have some Ricoh DL discs in stock... 10 for £40. The other company was charging around £9 per disc.

I think burning two DVDs and sticking them in a dual-DVD case is the best option in terms of price sadly.

Looks like it. Will probably have to wait for a year or two. Considering that the first DVD-Rs cost a tenner each, they'll come down, too.

At least I can split the last one into categories so two DVDs is still OK.

There are some on eBay, but they're over 2 pounds each.

If you have Nero, I recommend using Nero BackItUp, which does multiple disk backups quite nicely. (I wish it didn't write them in a proprietory format, but you can't have everything.)

I'm not quite in the "Buy CDs by the case-full" league, but I do get through a few hundred a year, plus wallets, labels, etc., and a small number of DVDs for the PCs and DVD recorder. Being the mean git that I am, I shop around, and they've been the cheapest by far for at least the last couple of years.
