In other news, I keep getting really good comments about the "Industrial Angel" photo of puddingcat, even from one of the harshest critics on the German forum I posted it. *beams*

Theres a church cum club like that in Nottingham. Its not goth but it does play 80's music so it was just as good for me.

The difference is that this one is an actual church. The organisers are Christians and managed to convince their church to rent it out for a goth club. The atmosphere is fantastic and the people are really friendly.

It's probably the most relaxed and friendly club I've been to anywhere. I managed to get there for "vinyl night" so the music was a bit OTT on 80s but usually their setlists (http://www.aranights.com/Sounds.htm) aren't that bad and they have a good mix of stuff.

Doesn't look half bad, as you say the playlists are very varied. Extra kudos for the DJ that span Blasphemous Rumours......
