[livejournal.com profile] belak_krin asked for some gloomy/gothic images of Cambridge so I went into town this evening and came up with these. I deliberately went for dramatic angles and underexposed most shots and I think it worked. Click on the thumbnail to open the fotopic gallery.

It's just like I remember, only gloomy.

Wow some of those are really good, I mean your normal work (like for cam and stuff) is good but those look very classy and rather gothic but then anything in black and white and a bit old looking has that tendancy (clothing or architecture wise - not a 60 year old with her false teeth out)

Cheers!

It was suprisingly easy to do, you just need to know where (and how) to look. I only spent about an hour in town.

Cheers Oz, I'll yoink these straight off the site and try to get the backgrounds etc worked up so the final job can be sent off to approval before the end of the week.

Good Work! I'll try to post back the altered versions

that would be helpful :) especially as I've just remembered fotopic disables the 'save as..' option to preserve copyright of course.

Which reminds me, my folks were interested in getting some prints of the photos you took of the BBQ, but I assumed you might have a preferred method to going through fotopic

Well, you can disable the locking but I'd rather not. CD it is.

fotopic's prices are far too high. I prefer photobox (http://www.photobox.co.uk). Let me know what size/format and which pics and I shuffle them over. I'll use the hi-res versions as they make better prints.
