I would never work in the food industry. More stress, awful working hours and even less pay than what I'm on. I recently saw a full-time Head Chef position advertised (for a nice restaurant, not a pub/bistro) for about 2K less than my current salary...

The staff would probably quit very quickly, too, as I don't take kindly to stupid people...
