Ow.
We're almost done with the review of the set, maybe two sessions to go and we'll be a regular class.
We also started doing don-yus which are a sort of squats but very different from the ones you'd do at a gym. It's a sitting movement, but your back remains straight and your heels stay on the floor. There are coordinating arm movements, too. It's one of those moves that show how physically weak I am, as you're pushing up your whole bodyweight with your legs (through your feet up your spine, off which the whole body hangs). Having dodgy knees doesn't help. I didn't actually feel any discomfort in the knees, I just really felt it in the muscles, which can only be a good thing in the long run.

Basically, you just turn up to the first lesson (the Netherhall one is on the 22nd of September), there's no real need to sign up in advance. I'll send you a mail with the instructor's phone number.
