Rain!

Rah! Now to hope this continues until about 6 or so tonight so the sun doesn't have a chance of making a humid horrible mess of the wetness. The ground and plants desperately need the water, though.

I'm looking forward to a full night's sleep without tossing and turning and having to take another shower in the morning.

No plans for tonight so will probably process photos.
Might do some shopping in town tomorrow (need a filter for the new lens and maybe a quest for some more summer clothes).

Two new CDs today:
"Ry Cooder - Chávez Ravine" and "Van Morrison - Magic Time". Mini-reviews to follow tonight.

I just read a fantastic review, and the story of Chavez Ravine in Word magazine. It made me want to rush out and buy it. I wait with baited breath for your review!

Heard a track (and the story) on one of the Radio 2 shows this week (probably Mike Harding or Bob Harris), it does sound like classic Ry Cooder!

Have a great weekend! (And only last night I was looking at the sad state of my front garden and wondering whether to get out the hose and sprinkler, but looking out the window at work now (at the rain and lightning) I reckon I saved myself the effort!
