Dull day, good evening
27 Apr 2005 11:29 pmHeaded to the Meadows after work for half a session of Tai Chi which was good as it was small.
Then via Interesting Times to the Man on the Moon for giggy goodness.
All Gone Dead sounded like their name suggested and wasn't really my thing.
Voices of Masada were better but still too trad for my liking, although the singer had a good voice.
Rome Burns, on the other hand, rocked. Good music, great vocals, good audience involvement. I definitely need to get their album.
Devilish Presley were bouncy fun with the female bassist having a voice reminiscent of Mötley Crüe, also very good.
I took my camera along and was dismayed to see only red lights during the first two acts, which meant I had to resort to direct flash. Luckily whoever controlled the lights saw sense and pulled them all up from Rome Burns onwards so I managed to get a few cool shots. In fact, I filled my 1GB card with RAW photos.
A tiny preview will be posted in a bit.
