karohemdAfter a very late night of watching Kozure Okami (Japanese early 70s TV series based on the Lone Wolf and Cub stories, equally good and brutal but far less gory than the Babycart and Samurai Assassin films), lunch was a bit early at 12:30 but very good: Roast haunch of venison with red cabbage and Servietteknödel (old rolls, sliced and cubed, with the cubes roasted in the pan and the slices soaked in egg and milk, all mixed together into a ball, wrapped in a linen napkin and simmered in salted water for about an hour). Very yummy but far too much.
It's still around 5 degrees and the snow is now pretty much completely gone, exposing the green fields, rather sad, really.
More laziness this afternoon with much reading and snoozing, light cold dinner (in our family and most of the area as well, lunch is the big meal of the day) and a bit of TV.
Having a slow (even compared to the NTL dialup) and not very reliable internet connection (on demand, pay as you go dialup) coupled with not being able to use it during the day (or the parents complain) sucks. I can't connect to fotopic at the moment so photos will have to wait. The connection is too slow to upload to my other sites, either.
