Friday
Got home after work, had some dinner and spent the rest of the evening in Middle Earth.
The extended scenes in RotK are mostly good and not too excessive, Saruman's back in (phew) but the Scouring of the Shire isn't (PJ explains in the extras why not).
Saturday
All the sleep dep finally took its toll and I didn't get out of bed until 2:30, being totally knackered. Did some chores, had phone conversation with mum who seems to feeling chirpier, went shopping and cooked dinner.
. The wine I had almost knocked me out, I'm not getting that brand again (it wasn't even cheap but reduced to half price, maybe for a reason).
Apologies torazornet for not turning up but I wasn't really fit to drive...
Sunday
Woke up with a headache, had breakfast, decided my route and journeyed into the deepest Fens for the Tai Chi Christmas lunch at the Oriental Garden in Rings End. Rather good buffet that even included crispy aromatic duck with all the trimmings, as much as you could eat for a tenner, so good value as well. Met some new people, had some interesting conversations and went back home again, feeling much better after the food.
Still got various things to do so won't be making it toscy11a's. Sorry! :o(

As it is, I'll be in Germany being fed by mum. I'm just trying to imagine you standing in my room, head almost scraping the ceiling. I think you'd be feeling rather claustrophobic. ;o)
