Low: Staples managed again not to do an order. First I had to wait 15 minutes until the muppet behind the counter learned how to use the binding machine so he could do a job for another customer, then he couldn't find the flyer order for Octaine and Die Fabrik. Especially important for the latter as I wanted to pass on a stack to people going to Whitby to distribute. Now I need to hope they're ready tomorrow lunchtime so I can guillotine a stack at work and drive them over to [livejournal.com profile] robinbloke's after Tai Chi so he can take them along.

High: The Calling. [livejournal.com profile] mrph played a very varied mix of stuff from trad to electro and anything in between, incl. Subway to Sally and Rotersand (well, I knew he's one of the few DJs I can request them from). Thanks again! Shame he didn't have any Inchtabokatables with him...
Unfortunately, I really had to get home so the chat afterwards was only brief but interesting. We definitely share a large portion of our taste in music. :o)

Got home, showered and briefly peeked online. Good night. Another stressful day tomorrow.

Not had a problem with Staples, but then I stand there and wait for them to print rather than try to do an order for collection.

I suggest you phone during the day to bug them and check they're done.
