Date: 7/10/04 08:11 pm (UTC)"Wrecking Ball" is wonderful. Great stuff, songs by many big names (e.g. Lucinda Williams). This isn't Country anymore, this is pure Americana.
I saw Emmylou live in, I think, '86, sometime in the mid/late 80s, and she was already moving towards that style then.
There was a programme on her on BBC2 a couple of weeks ago and I got hooked again, so I had to get this album.
