I had the Classic Rock and Metal set and yes, it was classic. Had a great time, the people enjoyed it and danced, couldn't have been better.
Except for the one glitch. Deck 1 decided that it doesn't want to read CD-Rs anymore (It cued up fine but refused to play when I pressed play).
Good time, definitely.
The setlist:
Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love
Jimi Hendrix - All Along the Watchtower
Deep Purple - Hush
Free - All Right Now
Ram Jam - Black Betty
Aerosmith - Love in an Elevator
Spin Doctors - Little Miss Can't Be Wrong
Guns'n'Roses - Mr. Brownstone*
Warrant - Cherry Pie
Ugly Kid Joe - Everything About You
Poison - Your Mama Don't Dance
Skid Row - Monkey Business
-glitch-
Skid Row - Slave to the Grind
Alice in Chains - Sickman
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit*
Pearl Jam - Alive
Faith No More - Be Aggressive
Saxon - 747 (Strangers in the Night)**
Jet - Cold Hard Bitch
Dick Brave & the Backbeats - Walk This Way***
Fade to Bluegrass - Wherever I May Roam

*request **band request ***track request (but not the version he wanted, he liked it anyway ;o)

Ooo, isn't that annoying? if it just didn't work you could avoid it, but to cue up and then not play!

Exactly.
The deck literally froze. They are usually quite intelligent and complain or display an error but the play button was constantly lit as if it were playing (it flashes when on pause) but nothing happened. Took me a minute or so to finally eject it and then it was *very* hot.

only about 3 tracks there that I dont really like, bugger I couldnt make it.
However you did play "Cherry Pie" by Warrant so whilst I may not smite you for it we both know you've got a ticket for one to the hot place below ;-p
