Concert ticket prices

You've probably read my recent post about ticket prices.
I just had a look for the KD Lang gig in November. Same venue as ME, over 20 pounds cheaper.
I readily accept higher prices at posher venues like the Royal Albert Hall but why a ticket for similar music at the same venue would cost so much more is beyond me. I would assume venue hire costs are the same so ME's promoter makes 20 quid more off each ticket than KD Lang's...
