Holiday diary part II

Saturday
As trip to the fun fair on Friday night didn't happen due to torrential rain, I managed to go to bed on time and get up at 7:30 on the Saturday. Had breakfast, got ready and drove parents' car down to Nuremberg in good time. Searched for a place to park for quite a while as there were a number of construction sites but eventual found one not too far away from the venue.
Quite a number of people were already there and it was good to see some old familiar faces and catch up on gossip and things. Played Chez Goth for a bit first until the multigroup WoD crossover game started.
This time only two groups (one Bone Gnawer pack and a cabal of Mages), still a fun game. A typical convoluted plot (the BGs had to find the stolen ashes of an Ancestor, the Mages had to find an obscure Mage) with much cheese and hilarity.
Eventually curled up in my sleeping bag at about 3am and slept quite well until about 8:30.
Sunday
Got up, cleaned up, had breakfast and set up my game.
The problem on the Sunday is that many people are wusses and turn up far too late so I had to wait quite a bit for my players to turn up or even had to find replacements. Still managed to run a fun game for everyone involved and Captain Future/CAH was voted the most original system of the con. *grins and offers high five to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

Again, a very cool roleplay weekend, meeting old friends and having a great time. Wonderful.
Drive home was quick and uneventful. Dropped off stuff and walked into town to the funfair. Walked around the fair a bit and only met an old classmate from primary school. After the fireworks it started to rain again so I walked home, chatted to parents a bit and was in bed by midnight.
Monday
Slept pretty much all day, only interrupted by lunch. Weather was really bad again so there wouldn't have been much point in going to the fair. It was better in the evening, though, so I went into town for the closing celebrations and then to the park to meet up with an old mate. Another friend who passed her exam that day happened to find us so we moved down to one of the outside bar to celebrate with champagne ;o). Was home about half past midnight but not tired yet so I read for a bit.
Tuesday
First proper day of the relaxing part of my holiday, i.e. doing nothing but sleep, eat, read, watch TV, etc.
