Latex aliens

Following a conversation from last night, I'm currently watching Galaxy Quest. The bad guy aliens look almost exactly like the Xindi in ENT. Now, GQ was filmed years before the first ENT ep the Xindi appeared in, so my question is, who copied from whom? ;oP

And there's one group of Xindi which look remarkably like Zabrak as well.

I guess we're just running out of original humanoid aliens, good job we have CGI.
