A bit of an update
9 Jun 2004 11:39 pmWork fluctuates between crawling along and being really busy but not unbusy enough to sneak in some other things.
Realised I could have planned my holiday better, instead of taking off the week after the 2nd weekend in July, I should have taken the one before so I would have had lots of time working on a Captain Future scenario for the con I'm going to. This way, I'll have to do it in the evenings at home. Bum.
Strange letter from NatWest today. A couple of weeks ago I received a notice that when I get my renewed credit card, it will be one of those Chip&Pin ones (a system used in Germany for at least five years) and that they'll send me a new PIN beforehand. Today I received the letter with the PIN and it was exactly the same as my current one. *shrug*
*moan* Now I have a bloody cold sore as well. Contrary to its name, I most often get them in summer when it's really hot. And I didn't catch this one in time so it's a bit of a pain and I'm running around with Blisteze all over a 50p sized bit under my lip.
Grrr, now that it's still cooling down nicely at night, I can't open the windows while there are any light sources (monitor etc.) on or I'll have bloody bugs inside. Bah.
I hope everything's sorted for Octaine tomorrow night, let's just hope Ferret isn't his usual forgetful self and actually remembers. I texted him today but he hasn't replied yet. I might take part of my Noise collection so I can play a Heavy Alternative set if need be.
Come all, it'll be great, we will have cake to celebrate our first anniversary and another eclectic music choice.

Date: 10/6/04 12:07 pm (UTC)They still don't have the ultimate cure, even the zinc solution took 5.3 days to heal. I don't think any of the sores I had in the past took longer than that to heal.
The most handy tip on the site is the one about replacing the toothbrush. A good idea would probably be to change my pillowcase.
