It's only early June which means there will be at least 12 weeks more of this weather.
Does anyone know of translator jobs in Northern Canada or Alaska? For the time being, Northern Scotland might just about do.
At least the new office has a working aircon which means I most likely won't be leaving the building at all during the day and the car is in the shade underneath.

I hate this body. :o(

And would you believe it, one row up is an Italian girl wearing a thick woolen jumper...

C'mon, this is England. It'll probably be raining and chilly again in another day or two!

I am in a non-airconditioned office with a man in a thick woollen jumper and a leather jacket on.

It's supposed to cool down to 19 ish tomorrow - this is pretty freaky weather for here so don't leave for Iceland just yet ;)

I know it's a bit early. And if anyone wants to dismiss the global warming theory, here's good proof that it does exist.
19ish would be nice, that's my optimum temperature.

Iceland is a nice country to visit once or twice (need to do this again as much has changed since '93) but I wouldn't want to live there as it's horribly expensive and apart from Reykjavik not much going on. It does have a great appeal, though. Absolutely amazing scenery and wildlife plus the proximity to Earth's innards. Scary and fascinating at the same time.

it's a place I've always wanted to visit - it looks amazing in pictures!

It looks even more amazing in reality. You need to get used to the smell, though. ;o)
Unfortunatly, my photos are at home in an album that's a bit bulky to bring and my scanner is here. A negative scanner would be the ideal solution but I can't afford one right now.
I might take out a few and bring them to scan here, especially of the geyser and the puffins.
