for not making it through the night but I couldn't breathe in there and would soon have thrown up. I'm going to sleep now and take the day off sick tomorrow so I should hopefully be up and running for the weekend.

Shame that very few of you were there to witness my set which ranged from Ambient Noise and Dark Ambient via Ethereal and moody things to bouncy Medieval Crossover.
Another eclectic selection:
THO-SO-AA - GE (V)
Folkstorm - Hail the Queen
:wumpscut: - Rise Again (Haus Arafna remix)
Baradelan - flickering string simulation
Lapsed - Twilight - Track 13
Grendel - Kurtz
A(0)n - Miss Conception
Detritus - Penitence
Ordo Equitum Solis - Truth
Helium Vola - Frauenklage
Corvus Corax - Mille Anni Passi Sunt
Garmarna - Polska
Tanzwut - Fatue
Schandmaul - Folk You
Saltatio Mortis - God Gave Rock'n'Roll to You
Adaro - Tandaradei

It was still very quiet when I left, only a few non-regulars had shown up. Let's hope they'll pick up some pub leavers and randoms.
Thanks go to [livejournal.com profile] devalmont for a weird and wonderful set of covers and stuff and to [livejournal.com profile] razornet for his set, whatever that will be.

The next night will be on the 10th of June, back on the 2nd Thursday with guest DJs [livejournal.com profile] eviltwinemma (Rock) and Ferret&Mike (Heavy Alternative).

Sorry I didn't make it. Two nights in a row and all that...

As opposed to [livejournal.com profile] robinbloke's who had a wonderful woman to entertain, your excuse is hardly acceptable. ;oP

Sorry we didn't make it, would have liked to have heard your set, but well; we were busy :)

I enjoyed your set. And numbers did pick up a bit later on in the evening; there were even quite a few people dancing at times. (I danced like a loon to Nirvana and Metallica and almost all of [livejournal.com profile] razornet's set, myself, and had a fantastic time :-)

Cool!
When my PC is up and running, I can put it on a CD for you (and other interested parties) as except for :wumpscut:, Grendel, and possibly Corvus Corax and Saltatio Mortis it was a really obscure selection.
The only person I know who would have a slight chance to know things from the set is [livejournal.com profile] surje.
The first track is exceptionally weird as it's all done with natural instruments/real life objects, not cooked up with a synthesizer or sampled.
